AI Front Desk for Maine service businesses

A phone system that answers missed calls, captures useful details, and follows your business rules.

$249 per month

300 minutes per month

Standard setup and ongoing support included

What the service does

  • Answers calls your team cannot take.
  • Captures caller details and the service request.
  • Uses agreed knowledge and rules for responses and handoffs.
  • Gives the owner a summary to act on.

Shawn sets it up, tests it with you, and supports changes. If your team already handles every worthwhile call and follow-up, this may not be a useful addition.

What $249 a month includes

  • One local phone number and standard setup for one agreed call workflow.
  • 300 AI-handled minutes per monthly billing period.
  • Caller and request details, with notifications to the owner through the agreed channel.
  • Routine changes to business hours, FAQs, and routing rules.
  • Ongoing support from Shawn.

How minutes and additional charges work

The allowance is measured in minutes, not a number of calls. We total the seconds connected to the AI front desk during your billing period. Ringing before connection does not count. Unused minutes do not roll over.

Additional AI-handled minutes cost $0.25 per minute, calculated from the total excess seconds and rounded once to the nearest cent. Additional usage must be agreed and enabled with verified usage tracking before charges begin.

We notify you when usage reaches 80% and 100% of the allowance. Your written order sets a spending limit and the fallback destination for calls when that limit is reached or the AI is unavailable. We do not silently drop calls or enable open-ended spending.

Support and scope

Email shawn@awknd.me for support. You receive a human response by the end of the next business day, Monday through Friday excluding U.S. federal holidays, in Eastern Time. This is an acknowledgment and initial assessment, not a guaranteed resolution time or 24-hour human support.

New integrations and substantial workflow changes are quoted separately. Customer SMS and live transfers are not included in the standard launch scope. Any messaging, transfer, external-software, or other third-party charges require a separate agreement before activation. Applicable taxes are additional.

Recurring service is billed monthly in advance. Agree cancellation, phone-number handoff, and data handling in the written order before launch. Read the standard Front Desk terms.

Define the call boundaries before launch.

We also need to agree what the system may say, which requests require a person, and how the business handles a failed handoff. AI can make mistakes. This demonstration is not an emergency service.

For a clinic or any workflow involving sensitive information, discuss the data and human-review requirements before choosing a system. Do not send medical information through the demo or ordinary email.

What working together involves

  1. Discuss your missed calls, current tools, and required handoffs.
  2. Agree scope, fees, business rules, and support arrangements.
  3. Test the agreed system and handoffs before customer use.
  4. Have Shawn support the system and agreed changes.

Inspect a documented demonstration.

The public recording is a 19-second excerpt from the Pine State Home Services demo. Pine State is an ASG demonstration, not a client. It lets you assess a short spoken exchange before discussing an installation.

What the caller reports
Water is coming out of a sink and spreading.
What the AI says
It suggests shutting off the fixture or main water if safe, and says it will mark the request urgent.
What this verifies
The recording contains that spoken response to the reported problem. It does not verify that an urgent ticket, owner notification, or appointment was created.
What remains to test for your business
Correct details, approved safety wording, notification delivery, human handoff, and behavior when a connection or service fails.

The separate follow-up graphic is an illustration, not output verified against this recording. Neither asset establishes client results, reliability across many calls, or a completed booking.

Software and managed service are different purchases.

A self-service product can be a sensible choice if you want to configure and maintain it. ASG includes Shawn's setup and ongoing support. Compare the full scope and usage charges as well as the starting price.

Separate potential revenue from payoff.

The following is an illustration, not a customer result or forecast. It assumes eight missed calls a week, one in three resulting in a job, a $280 average job, and a four-week period.

Illustrative four-week gross revenue
Missed calls in four weeks8 × 4 = 32
Assumed jobs from those calls32 ÷ 3 ≈ 10.7
Potential gross revenue≈ $2,987
Published Front Desk price$249/month

Gross revenue is not profit. Deduct the cost of completing the jobs, any provider charges, and work you would have recovered anyway. Use your own call history and capacity to estimate incremental value.
